Safety Leadership - It's NOT All About OSHA
Years of attention by many professionals across multiple disciplines (Government, EH&S, Human Resources, Engineering, Nursing, etc.) have still left many of us feeling that goals of achieving no lost time hours and zero injuries is challenging and elusive in our organizations. There is incredible cost associated with incidents - both personal and financial - and each one impacts lives and overall safety performance.
What can be done? Organizations need to focus on leadership and recognize the human element that is a significant part of safety performance and behaviors in the workplace. Nearly all safety incidents contain a human behavior that contributed to the near miss or injury. Don't settle for mediocre safety performance - let's raise the bar by implementing good leadership skills that will empower and equip your workforce for better results.
Come and learn how to recognize the human element and address it effectively using best leadership practices.
